Fatou Kiné Thiam is a mechatronics engineer, technology enthusiast and entrepreneur whose journey has been driven by a lifelong curiosity for how things work and how they can be built differently. From discovering programming and robotics as a teenager in Senegal to studying engineering across Tunisia and France, she has developed expertise and interests spanning robotics, artificial intelligence, industrial automation and biomedical technologies. Today, she works at the intersection of industry, technology and education while contributing to initiatives in entrepreneurship and women’s participation in technology. Through her different engagements, she is increasingly focused on a larger question: how can we build the skills, technologies and ecosystems needed to shape the future rather than simply adapt to it?
