Build With Her is an independent editorial magazine. We cover the women building the infrastructure, AI systems, and platforms that power the modern internet. We assume technical fluency. We do not simplify.
Build With Her covers the engineering work that rarely earns a keynote slot: the architecture decisions, the incident postmortems, the platform rewrites, the reliability work done in the hours nobody tweets about, in the words of the people who were in the room. We edit for precision, not polish.
Every story published by Build With Her is written and submitted by the woman it belongs to, under her own name. We do not employ staff writers and we do not publish under invented bylines. Every byline links to that contributor's own profile and the rest of her published work.
Meet the contributorsWe accept pitches and full draft submissions. We are particularly interested in production war stories, architectural decisions with real tradeoffs, and perspectives from people doing the load bearing work.
