Why I Chose the Name "Anitha Rises
After a career gap of nearly 13 years, I rebuilt my career through LinkedIn and personal branding. Today, I help students understand the importance of building their personal brand early, so they can create visibility, credibility, and career opportunities. My mission is to inspire the next generation to learn, grow, and rise with confidence.

Why I Chose the Name "Anitha Rises"
My Journey. My Identity. My Mission.
When I decided to build my personal brand, I knew I wanted a name that represented more than just me. I wanted a name that carried a message of hope, resilience, and new beginnings. That is why I chose Anitha Rises.
For nearly 13 years, I had a career gap. Like many women, I dedicated my time to my family and personal responsibilities. There were moments when I questioned whether I would ever restart my professional journey. I wondered if opportunities had passed me by.
Everything changed when I discovered LinkedIn and the power of personal branding.
I realized that people don't just connect with qualifications—they connect with stories, values, and consistency. I started sharing my thoughts, learning, and experiences regularly. Slowly, people began to notice me. My visibility increased, my confidence grew, and new opportunities started coming my way.
That journey inspired the name Anitha Rises.
It is not just about my success. It represents rising after self-doubt, rising after a long career break, and rising with purpose. More importantly, it reminds others that no matter how long they have been away from their careers, they can rise again.
Today, I proudly work as a Personal Branding Mentor, helping students understand something that many people discover too late.
Most students spend years learning technical skills, preparing for exams, and building their resumes. Those are important. But very few are taught how to build a professional identity before they enter the job market.
A resume tells employers what you have done.
A personal brand shows people who you are.
That difference can open doors to internships, speaking opportunities, collaborations, and meaningful career connections.
Many students, especially those from rural backgrounds and non-technical fields, have talent but remain invisible because they do not know how to showcase their knowledge and ideas. My mission is to change that.
Through workshops, LinkedIn guidance, and mentoring, I encourage students to start building their personal brand early.
I want them to share their learning journey, express their ideas confidently, and create opportunities instead of waiting for them.
The word "Rises" is a reminder that growth is continuous. Every post, every article, every conversation, and every lesson helps us become a better version of ourselves.
My journey is proof that it is never too late to begin.
If my story inspires even one student to believe in themselves, create their LinkedIn profile, share their knowledge, or restart after a setback, then my mission has meaning.
Anitha Rises is more than a name.
It is my story.
It is my purpose.
It is my promise to keep learning, keep sharing, and keep helping others rise with me.
