"Impact Over Recognition: Why I Choose to Serve" is my personal story about my calling as a philanthropist and community advocate. Driven by the core belief that humanity is the best policy, I share my heart's desire to see every child thrive, particularly by giving vulnerable youth access to STEM and AI education as our world rapidly evolves and supporting organizations that are working toward that same goal.

Rooted in faith, my personal journey, and inspiration from leaders like Wawira Njiru and Dr. John Garang, I focus on serving quietly, leading with integrity, and choosing meaningful impact over personal recognition. Ultimately, I share my vision of building a foundation that empowers less privileged children, street youth, and orphans to unlock their full God-given potential.

I started my journey with a grade that made me feel like I wouldn't succeed, but I chose to keep going. Today, as an Applied Computer Science student and community builder, I am showing that technology can be used to change lives and help those in need. By turning my past challenges into stepping stones, I am on a mission to prove that where you start does not have to be where you finish.

Still Becoming: Embracing the Journey of Impactful Leadership

Driven by a deep passion to give back to my community in Kenya, I initially believed I lacked the skills to lead and was afraid of speaking up. My perspective transformed when I joined the university and completed the Aspire Leadership Program, where I learned that leadership is not a birthright or a formal title, but a deliberate decision rooted in influence, purpose, and positive impact. Today, as an undergraduate student, I am actively breaking down the misconception that women cannot lead by guiding community projects, teaching digital literacy skills to children, and prioritizing mental health—proving that I am still on a continuous journey of growth and becoming an impactful leader.
