I Started Before I Felt Ready And That Changed Everything
Adeela Rashid’s journey is a story of persistence without clarity—until clarity found her through action. After completing her degree, she spent years learning through courses, platforms, and self-study

I Started Before I Felt Ready And That Changed Everything
I didn’t feel ready when I started my journey in digital marketing.
In fact, for a long time, I felt the opposite.
I completed my MIT degree from the Virtual University of Pakistan in 2016. Like many others, I had a qualification—but not the practical understanding of how to actually build something with it. I had knowledge on paper, but no real direction.
So I did what most people do. I kept learning.
I joined different courses, explored training programs, and spent hours watching YouTube tutorials. I tried platforms like Enablers and other virtual learning spaces. I was putting in effort, but nothing felt result-oriented. There was no clarity, no real progress—just learning without direction.
It was frustrating.
There were moments when I questioned myself: *Is this even going anywhere? Am I doing something wrong?*
But I didn’t stop.
At the end of 2025, something finally shifted. I was selected for the PSDF Rural Women Skill Development Program. For the first time, I felt like I had access to something structured and supportive.
They provided us with a desktop system, an internet device, and even a monthly stipend to stay connected and continue learning. It wasn’t just support—it was an opportunity I had been waiting for.
The program lasted six months, and it changed the way I saw my journey.
Our first instructor, Mam Insibat, focused on building our English communication skills. That foundation gave me confidence—not just to learn, but to express myself.
Then came our technical training with Mam Hina Jawad—an instructor I deeply respect for her honesty and dedication. Under her guidance, things finally started to make sense.
We learned Shopify, social media management, Canva, and most importantly, Meta Ads and optimization. For the first time, I wasn’t just consuming information—I was understanding how to apply it.
That was the turning point.
Today, I can confidently say that I feel capable of doing something meaningful and result-oriented. Not because I suddenly became perfect, but because I kept going—even when I didn’t feel ready.
Looking back, I realize something important:
Clarity didn’t come from waiting.
It came from doing.
And sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity, one supportive environment, and one moment where things finally start to connect.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
You don’t need to feel ready to begin.
You just need to start.
