Learning Tech While Life Is Still Happening
A story of starting in tech without feeling ready, growing through self-learning, and building confidence one step at a time.

There was a moment I remember clearly-sitting in silence after putting my kids to bed, staring at my screen, wondering if I was really cut out for this.
Not because I didn’t want it badly enough.
But because I was tired. Unsure. And honestly, overwhelmed by how much I didn’t know.
I didn’t start my career journey with confidence. I started with questions.
Questions like: Am I even good enough for this? Will I figure this out? Where do I even begin?
I am building my path in tech, step by step, learning as I go. I didn’t have everything figured out at the beginning—and I still don’t. But I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t always come before action. Sometimes, it comes because of action.
There are days I feel motivated, and there are days I feel overwhelmed. Days where everything clicks, and days where I wonder if I’m moving too slowly compared to others.
But I’ve also learned something important: growth in tech is not a straight line. It’s messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal.
I started exploring cloud computing and discovering what it means to work in this space. I’ve had to learn new concepts, unlearn assumptions, and keep going even when things didn’t make sense at first.
What keeps me going is not perfection—it’s progress.
Every small win matters.
Every concept I finally understand matters.
Every time I choose not to give up matters.
I am still learning. I am still building. And I am proud of that.
To anyone on a similar path: you don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. You just need to stay curious enough to continue.
This is my journey and I’m still writing it.
